A digital storyteller based out of Pune, India. Having studied and worked in the fields of language, literature, journalism, and social movements and development, I come with a diverse and deep understanding of the world around us. Over the years, I have traveled across Maharashtra to document folk arts, artists, and the evolving cultural scene. I conceive, write, present and edit the stories from ground zero.
In my most recent role, I headed the social media department of Paani Foundation, a leading non-profit that trains villages and villagers in the state of Maharashtra to manage their water resources effectively. Paani is founded by Aamir Khan, a renowned film actor, producer, and a public figure. At Paani, I directed a team of content creators and editors. We tracked how communities in water-stressed parts of my home state are coping and innovating.
Playing with Forrest and Eclipse, my cats, is what I do all day long when I am at home. I pen letters whenever I go through unique experiences and post them to my loved ones. Yes, you read it right, letters in the era of WhatsApp! A good book is always on my desk and the bed side. I do yoga, listen to music (when I am not doing yoga). I travel at least twice a year to discover new places.
Do check out (below) a collection of my recent productions, and a few feature stories I wrote and presented during my reporting days. I go back to them whenever I feel the need to motivate myself. Looking back, it reminds me of the enthusiasm, energy, and creativity I put into my stories.
